Entering the holodeck for the first time I look at the grid. This technology was old hat now but it still suprised me. when entering the room without setting a programe to start before enetering.
Computer Set beneath me feet the old Earth ship HMS Enterpirse. floating up the waves.
In a short time a crew filled ship was floating upon the wave.
Looking down I notice the difference between the starfleet uniform and the 19th Century crew uniform.
Computer. Discontinue simultion.
I set off in search of the Correct uniform.

After arriving back in period costume I walk back onto the Enterprise slightly before Mr Golly enters.
"Ah Mr Golly it is okay I think this might be something of a slight distraction from the current duties in getting the ship ready for launch."
"Feel free to join me."

I believe they used to call it Sailing Mr Golly. You might be a little out of your element here as there was very little to do with science, and a lot more to do with superstition when it came to sailing vessels of this era.

Well it is good to share with some of the crew an adventure. Computer Fill ship with crew complement and start to breeze.
The Doctor is looking well.
The Computer beeped once and the ship filled with people coming to life.
Set course bearing 60 degrees east of North.

Idiot, as if you could get the year wrong. Stephen thought running back to the Holodeck. Stepping back throught the door he saw the ship filled with a crew and the Captain. "Captian are you needing an Officer for this fine ship?"

Yes Mr Mayweather. All ships are in need of Officers. I think we need and officer on the Gun deck just below. I think we lost the last one in the last battle. Those Spainiard could be a problem they cause the turn of the last battle and it was their cannon that killed McGill. the Doctor tryied his best to save him but it didn't work.
